I am new to the forum and I'm sure this has been discussed, but I'd be
grateful for any ideas.

I am bench testing a pair of AirPoint Pro Outdoor units that were apparently
affected by the firmware/temp bug. Initially the units would disassociate
from all clients anytime a revision to the MAC authorization table was
saved. Powering down for about 7 minutes brought them back temporarily.

I upgraded firmware to 1.4j.8 and was able to save table additions and
things looked great for about 2 hours.

The setup is this: One AirPoint Pro configured as access poiint, Ethernet to
INET router, associated with one Cisco 340 PCMCIA client.
Second AirPoint Pro configured as wireless repeater, associated to first
AirPoint, with one client (Linksys WET11 bridge) associated.

Running a continuous ping to the router, they work great for about an hour,
then everybody disassociates, first the linksys to wireless repeater
connection, then the wireless repeater to access point,, finally the cisco
340 client.

I have learned not to expect much from the Linksys boxes (about one in four
will not associate with anything), but the 340 getting kicked off really
bugs me.

Recovery does not require a hard boot, a simplemonitor reset on the main
access point brings back the 340 and wireless repeater, resetting the
repeater brings back the Linksys box.

Anybody got any ideas?
