Change the BSSID to all zeros. That will allow it to associate to any AP that uses the ESSID that you have designated for that radio. It's not really a bug, it allows you to use an AirBridge as one side of a backhaul now. It's no longer a transparent bridge, so you have to tell it which direction the gateway actually is. You can manage the radios all day long from any subnet, but the SNMP Search feature of SimpleMonitor doesn't cross subnets, so you'll have to have them entered into something like SimpleNMS manually, or set your IP to each subnet that you have your equipment on and do a search there.
