Hey Beckman.....we've come to the same conclusions about bagging outdoor CPE in favor of indoor radios. Also we've thought through how to do the bulkhead Type N with attractive wall plate for the inside of the structure. On existing installs using outdoor radios, we may yet use shielded CAT 5 but we're leaning on running everything thru EMP conduit (just like the electricians do it)or, maybe conduit and shielded CAT 5. It's funny, the key to a successfull WISP business is the CPE install and the guys on this list (including me) are doing installs every which way. No industry standardization. SmartBridges is CLUELESS when it comes to grounding and lightning protection. It will be their undoing on their outdoor line. Their new Nexus line will tell us if they've learned any lessons regarding grounding and shielding.
