I for one use static manually assigned
IPs. No DHCP going on. Still lose association mostly between Sully -----Original Message----- Try looking at your DHCP logs when things get bad
(lots of disassociations). See if your pool of assignable IPs is being rapidly
cycled. Also check if the packet rate from 'bad' aBs is high. We've noticed that even one sub with both
aB DHCP client and host client enabled will exhaust the
assignable IPs because DHCP-request packets do not uniquely identify the
aB and host. This could be fixed in the aB 'proxy' by offering the
host MAC as a host identifier (in addition to the aB's MAC). Bill |
