UPDATE � Same problem but also when I try to do �firmware upgrade� it shows no adapter connected.  Device manager shows everything working fine.  Even if I hover over the systray, hoping to catch the elusive airmonitor icon, when I do click on the icon the window pops up but then disappears along with the icon.  Please help
