I am using Pac Wireless 90 degree sectors that are
horizontally polarized, can't be changed. And all my customers off these
access points are using h-pol. Actually, we were still able to get this
customer up last night, even though his airBridge was seeing the Aironets from
the competitor on the same channel. His RSSI and link quality were good,
don't have the numbers in front of me right now, but he was happy. But
this is just the first round - they only went live on Monday. We were
installing this customer Monday evening when an Aironet on channel 11 popped up
in the airBridge simpleMonitor. So we associated him with channel 1 with
good signal. Last night I was on the phone with him and we were checking
his setup again since he had got his computers networked, and suddenly the
Aironet changed to channel 1, the same channel the customer was on.
Coincidence? I think not!

That is scummy!!!!! Gloria, your competitor is playing
VERY dirty! At this point the gloves -I'm sure- are off! Did you try
polarizing your antennas differently? This way, even if your competitor
tries to match your channels, it won't affect your
signals.
