Put a router on the other side of the sB device, between the sB device an ANY of the client computers, and you are good to go.

There are byte counters on the ethernet interface, but they count all the traffic on the ethernet side and not only the traffic being forwarded (say, if the customer has 3 computers connected with a hub to the CPE, the ethernet byte/ packet counters will increase both for traffic going through the CPE and traffic going between the 3 computers). Not a big problem, since traffic counters can be fetched from the PPPoE server or from MAC/IP traffic counters at the router. -- LarsG ----------ANNOUNCEMENT---------- Don't forget to register for WISPCON IV http://www.wispcon.info/us/wispcon-iv/wispcon-iv.htm The PART-15.ORG smartBridges Discussion List To Join: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] (in the body type subscribe smartBridges <yournickname> To Remove: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] (in the body type unsubscribe smartBridges) Archives: http://archives.part-15.org ----------ANNOUNCEMENT---------- Don't forget to register for WISPCON IV http://www.wispcon.info/us/wispcon-iv/wispcon-iv.htm The PART-15.ORG smartBridges Discussion List To Join: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] (in the body type subscribe smartBridges <yournickname> To Remove: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] (in the body type unsubscribe smartBridges) Archives: http://archives.part-15.org
