Anyone know what the RSSI readings really mean? On most radios, like the
Trango, they give you actual RSSI received. So, I would expect an almost
unusable signal to have a reading of, say -90 to -100. Instead, it has a
reading of -20 to -40. A received signal of -20 is an incredibly strong
signal. How do I read these?
Also, the signal strength bounces around a awful lot. At one point it
may be 60% and without moving the antenna it will bounce down to 40%, and
then a minute later it will be back to 60%. What gives?
