[smartBridges] Single Defer Packets what are they good or bad??

I am seeing about 8000 on them right now on my main APPO's when reading the description it is vague but does not sound good does this giving any indication that the LAN setting on the switch is not set to 10 Meg 1/2 duplex?   Thanks
