I was gonna say this the other day but forgot
We are going 30' without guys, just by attaching to the house from 8' to 15'
we are using rigid conduit with pipe hangers
1 1/2"with a reducer to 1 1/4" with a reducer to 1"
You can achieve 30' without guys and a very stable pole
This cost about $47.00 locally.

Hope this helps someone

I have installed 30 ft masts from Lowes for $43.00.  You may also try Home Depot and Radio Shack.  I have to tell you that you must use guyed wires on anything over 20ft though.

I have HILLS, and I do mean hills in my area.  But I have customers that are willing to install 36, and 50 foot poles on there homes if it would mean getting high-speed internet?  Anyone want to give me a suggesiton on the cheapest and simplest method of getting something there?
