Nope near the darn highway 81 in an urban like setting.  I guess I should really do away with the amp.  I am going to try it on a sector and see if this helps.  Perhaps the directional aspect of the sector will cut out some of the crap.

Subject: [smartBridges] Amps!

I have a question for anyone who is using or used an am before.  Do they work well with your SB equipment?

I have a 1 watt amp on an a 12 dBi Omni connected to an APPO.  I wanted to see if it would boost my signal substantially.  Well it did for a few hours and now all my LQ's are jumping from 0% - 90%.  Any clue?

I spoke to the manufacturer and he told me that I must set the SB AP to 10dBm and that is all I can do or else I could fry the amp. Well SB AP only goes down to 11.5dBm.

I think I am getting a lot of noise from that AMP on the receiving side because the the signal strength is great but the LQ sucks.
