Check out PCConnection.com. May not be the best prices, but a search for "orinoco" turned up exactly what you're looking for... You can even save yourself some money buying a silver and "upgrading" it, if you feel sneaky. ;-) Look specifically for a "Classic" version of the card. Maybe its just me, but I always feel the oldies are the goodies. At least you know it has the antenna jack and all.. By the way, once you get all this stuff onto your iPAQ, make sure you download a copy of MiniStumbler from netstumbler.com.. Indispensable. -- Aaron

There is a bit of a hack if you have (or have access to) a macintosh with an airport slot. Dell TrueMobile cards *USED* to be rebadged Orinoco's, but not so sure now... Those silver-to-gold cards i have are badged from HP. On another note, i've seen advertised quite a few "war driving specials" that contain a gold card, mag mount omni antenna, and pigtail in one package. Sometimes a little mag mount omni ain't to shabby to have around. -- Aaron Bennett -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, October 29, 2003 9:38 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [smartBridges] wireless PCMCIA card for Ipaq Joe, I have been looking all night on eBay and everywhere and I cannot find a place to buy the gold classic. Any ideas. We can talk off the list. We can also do some setup over the phone if you like. I am purchasing an IPAQ to use for site surveys but I am not sure where to find the PCMCIA card and drivers for it. Someone told me Orinoco Gold Classic but where do I find Pocket PC and CE drivers?
