what version firmware do you have. It sounds like a if it were losing
association because it did not see the AP anymore this typical from what I
can tell and why the came out with the watchdog timer in the latest firmware
to auto reboot the client units....

Okay, new problem.

I have an APPO in AP mode and an APPO in CB mode.

If I power off the APPO(AP) and leave the APPO(CB) running for a while....
then go and repower the APPO(AP) back on, I get associated and there are
packets on the wireless going back and forth, but there is no IP
connectivity. smartMonitor finds the AP but not the CB.

The only way to solve this is to reset the CB.
