I just want you all to know that SB tech support goes above and beyond their call of duty.
After communicating for a day via email I received a call from Alex on Sunday no less to help me with my Airpoint issue. They sent me all sorts of good stuff including Airpoint simple monitor 1.5 and recovery utility. Which did not work due to the severity of my issue. Finally I had to give them VPN access to the device where they were able to work their magic and bring the thing back to life. Seeni finished the job off tonight and I am Very Happy. I thought I had lost my AP for good but now it is back and I just save $180.00. THANK YOU ALEX AND SEENI!(YOU TOO PROGRAMMING DEPT) For those of you out there running an AB as a part of a backhaul, be carefully using firmware upgrades and simple deploy because all MAC's behind that AB will look like an AB even your AP's. With that said I am going to change all of my AB's to AP's. In my case my AP took on the MAC of the AB between the NOC and main feed tower and caused a lot of crap. I don't care what headaches I may have sometimes, I am loving me some SB right now! I don't think Motorola would care if this was Canopy. Rock on SB!
