At one location, I have 30 clients directly off of my single head-end aPPo. Two of those clients are repeater locations with another 35 clients behind one of them and 6 clients behind the other.
That is 70+ (customer) clients data being fed back through my head-end aPPo. I have seen on a Friday or Saturday night when 90% of them are online at the same time. No problems. We currently have 4 APPOs running on for different quadrents with 90 sectors. The most customers on one APPO is 25. We are in a situation where we need to change the configuration and move our clients to 1 APPO. We currently have 50+ customers and 10+ on a waiting list. Will 1 APPO with an Omni antenna handle all 50+ current clients and allow for more clients up to 80? We run horizontal polarity with low noise in the area. According to our BCU, we usually don't have more than 5 customers on our service at one time. If any of you folks with real world APPO load experience have time to answer, please let us know! Will check with developer if this is possible. All I have is the MAC and I have to look at my spread sheet to try and figure out who is what MAC. If I had names it would really help me figure out who is having problems or getting interference and such.
