I got mine from Hyperlinktech.com, but Electrocomm and Tessco have them also.

Gloria

Tony, I think Scott's just playing with you!
:-)

Can anyone recommend a disti I can get the RP-MMCX pigtail from? I'm going to stick it in my 1.21 Jigawatt (YES! That's JIGA WATT!!  ---I'm just a gigalow, and everywhere I go...lalalala!!!) NETGEAR MA701 card.

(I'm only kidding, Tony!  My MA701 isn't really 1.21 gigawatts!)
;-)

Tell you what call Zcom in TW and ask for yourself, but like I said all one needs to do it test the true output and RX levels from
radio. But from your comment one can see that you want this to be true and not mater what facts are presented it will not make a
different ;)

This is 100% NOT true the SMC card IS NOT I repeat is NOT a 200mW card any body that is will to do the test will see that this card
is 100mW and some times even less also the RX levels are not the same. I want to be clear Zcom in TW is where SMC get the cards
from, they get the bottom of the barrel cards that did not pass the tests both Zcomax(US) and Demarc require which is truly 200mW.
SMC has is blowing smoke on this, hell I even has a call from an SMC engineer asking us where we get our cards from! Anyway bottom
line you get what you pay for and at $60 its not a true 200mW card, also its not FCC certified like Demarcs:
http://www.demarctech.com/products/reliawave-rwz/qgk-dt200-grant.pdf

Don't get me wrong for $60 is a good card with external connectors, but do not be making false statements like this with out getting
your fact straight.

No problem, no apologies needed ;)

A lot of people were confused on Broadbandreports.com about this very thing so we had a pretty good thread about it including
pictures.  I'd just hate to see people spend the $25 on a pigtail only to find out it's the incorrect one (which I have done before
for a different device).  As a side note, for those that don't know, the SMC Elite Connect high power card is a re-branded Z-comax
card.  The Demarc cards are also the exact same thing, except they are $150 where the SMC is $60.  As you can see, the SMC is a
smokin' deal considering what you get.

Sorry, I meant RP-MMCX, was just trying to help in noting the style of the connector.

Sorry,
Gloria

The SMC card has an RP-MMCX, not MMCX.  A regular MMCX pigtail will fit into the socket, but then you are connecting center pin to
center pin, not center pin to center receptacle.  You may still get connection by using a MMCX pigtail and not ever notice the
difference, but it isn't a proper match.  HTH.
