Is there a supported way to do the equivalent of an NFS mount into an LX brand
zone?
I tried the normal way (from Ubuntu):
# mount -t nfs gz:/zones/test /mnt
mount.nfs: Function not implemented
Would the tools in /native be able to do this?
Apparently not for NFS:
# /native/sbin/mount -F nfs 192.168.42.200:/zones/test /mnt
mount: Operation not applicable to FSType nfs
I'm open to suggestions for alternative ways to mount a filesystem from
the global zone!
A couple more LX novice questions:
Can an LX zone use its delegated dataset?
Can the root filesystem be re-sized?
I'm looking at ways (other than NFS) for an LX zone to see more
storage. The main reason is to be able to see files in a Linux guest
from outside, which can be done with the LX zone's root.
