It is even less likely than a full SmartOS desktop running in a native zone, frankly. You would need to do work to be able to pass graphics hardware access down into the zone, just to get X11 to start in a native zone. In a branded zone, you would also need to do that in a way that's identical to (via brand emulation) the way that it's exposed on Linux. We're doing this work -- as with essentially all SmartOS development -- for cloud/server environments, not Desktops. Cheers. -- Joshua M.
