Hi, the bridge should be created for VirtualBox: https://github.com/joyent/smartos-live/blob/master/overlay/generic/lib/svc/method/net-physical#L273-278
If you have set the NIC in VirtualBox to a bridging interface and allow promise mode you should be all set up. Some people tho have problems with VirtualBox where the GZ gets network connected but every created zone can’t reach the outer world.
