Good point! Many people have probably already thought this whole train through, but here goes: - Increasing all the font sizes? Possible with DPI in /etc/init.d/nodm Problem: most menus won't fit on the screen anymore, making them useless. - Create a theme that changes the font size for buttons but not for menus I think it may be possible by choosing a font_name="Sans 10" for menus and font_name="Sans 20" for other things, but I'm not sure yet. To try this, copy a /usr/share/themes/* directory to your mokophone:.themes/ and edit the gtkrc in the gtk directory. Use gtk-theme-switch to switch themes (it has it's own package). I've changed some colors and tried a high-contrast theme, but have to go to bed now.
Let me know if you find other solutions and feel free to mail me your gtkrc files if you decide to create them or if they turn out cool, package them of course ;) Bram On Thu, 2009-01-29 at 11:55 +0200, Timo Juhani Lindfors wrote: > I should probably find out how to use global gtk settings to make > menus larger.
