Hi Антон, hi community,

my girlfriend is playing with Mokomaze at the moment and enjoys it very
much. But the FSO frameworkd is constantly fading the screen, requiring
her to tap the screen twice.

What would be an appropriate way for a game such as Mokomaze to prevent
fading, even if the game is otherwise FSO independent?

For desktops, there is xdg-screensaver which allows you to signal the
system that while a certain X window is present, the screensaver is
deactivated. Unfortunately, that program is not a wrapper around a
standard (such as a X windows property or such), but just a shell script
with special handling for all the various screensavers...

Any smart ideas?

Greetings,
Joachim
