ok.
After startx, I get the following output from the terminal and the phone
application ran on the screen :)
But I have a question. Isn't x window system start by default?
yes. it is.
i suppose, you do not see some flickering indicating failing attempts to
start X?
then probably either the runlevel is not configured correctly or you are
missing the dm replacement, nodm.
