Hi all,

I was thinking that debian on the FreeRunner could probably do without
the manuals, saving some space. It should be easy enough to replace all
manual pages with a link to a manual page stating "There is no manual,
to install this add the name to the whitelist and reinstall the
package".

Is that something that would be appropriate to do in debian or would
that be a violation of some rule in the policy?

If something like this is not appropriate or not considered good
practice for debian, what are the current plans to shrink the debian
footprint?

Bram
