Meanwhile, is there any way to install Debian on the FreeRunner, to give users a tip? Even http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/Manual_Debian uses cdebootstrap. I've just made http://wiki.debian.org/DebianOnFreeRunner a whole lot better, and will be now marking at the "Current Status of Installation" that installing Debian with the script is not possible.
