Hi Thanasis! I know there is much discussion about Huawei modems but, anyway, I find myself in the need of writing you just to know if there is anything new regarding this devices. I've been searching in the google group discussions and couldn't find my specific model. I have six Huawei E176 conected to a Windows Server 2003 box and they are having a very unstable behaviour. The following are some of the problems I'm dealing with: 1) Sometimes they just won't let the service start (not necessarily all of them at the same time). I don't know when this happens or what causes them not to respond. Looks like if they were busy or something 2) If they start "successfully" sometimes many of them won't send messages, or maybe queue messages but finally mark them as FAILED. 3) Never receive messages.
I´ve created a Huawei_ATHandler with modified terminators, as one of the discussions stated, but with no luck. I know the easyest way is to get compatible modems, but that would be my last option as I already have six of these ones. Many thanks in advance. Any help will be much appreciated.
