Tarif PJP2U di Bandara Soekarno-Hatta untuk terminal domestik menjadi Rp 40 ribu. Kenaikan tarif di Bandara Soekarno-Hatta Cengkareng itu mencapai 33 persen dari semula Rp 30 ribu. Sedangkan tarif PJP2U untuk terminal internasional naik 50 persen dari Rp 100 ribu menjadi Rp 150 ribu. Salah satu pelayanan yang akan ditingkatkan dengan adanya kenaikan tarif ini adalah toilet. Kebersihan toilet menjadi salah satu fokus pelayanan PT AP II. "Tidak hanya renovasi saja tapi juga membangun (toilet). Kalau di bandara pesawatnya banyak yang datang dalam satu waktu, jadi penumpang serentak ingin ke toilet, ini tantangannya," ujar Corporate Secretary PT AP II Sudaryanto pada detikcom, Jumat (20/2/2009). Tak hanya toilet, AP II juga akan menambah gerbang (gate) check-in dan check-out, memperbaiki layanan ruang tunggu (boarding lounge) dan tentunya keamanan yang sudah menjadi standar di bandara. Tarif baru ini naik berdasarkan Surat Menteri Perhubungan RI nomor PR 303/1/2/Phb 2009 yang ditandatangani 15 Januari 2009.
