My friend's G5 has gone dead over night. It will not turn on at all. The power cable seems OK. A light bulb blew in the evening and tripped a fuse but the Mac was not switched on at the time and he has surge protection. The only other thing he had done was to disconnect the speakers.
Is there anything he could try, or is it a job for Robert Harding?
