Yes it is a CF card.

What happened is:

I connected 350D to iMac
Aperture gave me the "Import all images" (which was 141)
That's what I did.
I then backed up the Aperture vault to my backup disk
I then chose 'Erase all' on the 350D
I then browsed the pictures in Aperture and when I got to the 141st I  
realised that (roughly) the next 25 were missing.
... now no way to go back to the camera and find out if they were even  
there!

I have not used the 350D since then.

How to you want to do this? Do I bring my card to you or post it? I  
can send a DVD to you too.

I do live in Brighton but just had a cycle accident yesterday so a bit  
wobbly and fragile at the moment.
