Regular back up, main computer has an always-connected Time Machine HDD
attached, lappie has a similar one which gets done once a week.

Repair permissions about once a month on both machines, just because I can.
To be honest, don't know whether it is worth doing like that ior if it is
simply necessary to do as required.

All my docs get backed up to Dropbox, photos get put on both computers (and
so Time Machined)

Things I don't do that I think might be a good idea: Separate HDD for
superDuper bootable clone of both machines maybe weekly, a third backup disk
for each (or a biggie for both) stored away from home. These two could be
combined of course, rotated weekly.

Have to say, my macbook in particular boots really slowly, though runs ok
during use. Don't know why.

Regards

Russell
