Howdy, We have one of those Mackbook's running on 2.26ghz mac osx 10.6.5. A white one I think is the 13". It's not been very robust but has been around the globe and back in the last year. Specifically it has two problems. Just wondering if they are easily fixed?
1) The track pad is broken, you can move the cursor with it but cannot press down at all, rather irritating because we have to use a mouse 2) Can't play sound- not sure if this is because the circle where you put your earphone 'thinks' there are earphones in there or the speakers are broken. When the ear[phones are in i can hear sound from them, when they are out the volume at the top of the screen goes to nothing and it won't turn up. The red light remains on to denote that there is a speaker or headphone jack but there isn't! Any advice. I'm in Thailand currently and there are Mac shops, or can this be done by some sort of IT fella. Any advice welcome. Many thanks.
