Hi, We were travelling last year and in each country we got a new sim for the iPhone and iPad. I'm nearly 100% certain that you cannot interchange them. I did ask once at the phone shop in France and they said no and I'm pretty sure we tried with no joy - when the iphone was out of credit. Think Sam is correct in saying that the iPad one is data only.
