Hi all,

Apple are driving me insane at the moment. Their level of service over an
iTunes support call has descended into farce and rivals the worst I ever
experienced with the Hell that was NTL. I know that none of you can help but as
I'm going silently bonkers here I had to just tell someone!! Here are 3 emails
 - a tiny fragment of the madness that has been going on, there's LOADS more.
I'm just keeping my cool, playing their game and hoping that things will be
resolved.

Sigh.

Cheers,

Stephen

Hello Stephen,

This is Harry again, from iTunes Store customer support. I will be glad to
assist you today.

I'll reset the password for you for the account "[email protected]". Before I can
do this, however, Apple requires that you provide the following for security
reasons:

- the billing address listed on the account
- permission to reset your iTunes Store account's password

...as well as one of the following:

- the last four digits of the credit card used for your iTunes Store account
- or the order number of your most recent purchase
- or the name of any item you've purchased using this account

Upon receiving your response, Apple will verify your billing address, reset
your password, and send you an email with your new password.

Thank you for your understanding.

Sincerely,

Harry
iTunes Store Customer Support

Hello Harry,

The billing address for [email protected] (or [email protected] if it's
become that instead) is <my old billing address was here>

You have permission to reset the password for the account
[email protected] (or [email protected] if it's become that instead).

The last 4 digits of the VISA debit card associated with my iTunes account are
<my 4 digits were here>.

Regards,

Stephen
