Now I use a Lumix T~20 compact. I have no idea what resale value it might have. It costs about £250, and I think it's amazing. Every so often I think of going back to a SLR and decide I would be crazy to do so. The quality of the images is terrific. The zoom is astonishing. The lens is marvellous. And it fits in the pocket.
