Once it's finished downloading and reinstalled, the recovery partition should be restored.
If you get an error message about the drive needing repair before Lion can be reinstalled then do the following : Reboot holding cmd + S until the screen goes black when the system has finished loading into single user mode type : fsck -fy Let the disk check finish then type : reboot Try the Lion installation again after that.
