Stephen, I checked the things you suggested - no iTunes playing in the background etc. But I did delete a couple of the apps. And from a full charge at 7.30 yesterday evening, to now 10.22 a.m. it has only gone down to 91% charge. A massive improvement, though I absolutely don't understand why or how!
