Hi everyone who responded, 'There must be a way' has led me to a solution for the changed way Comments work in Maverick. If I use' Insert' a Text Box I can manoeuvre that wherever I want, in my case beside the sheet and can insert as long a list of items as I wish. I will only use Comments for small items relating to a cell. I have not come across Text Box before, was it available in the previous version of Numbers? So time will tell whether problem solved.
