My first thought would be a Western Digital NAS drive really wouldn't be the
choice for a business environment. Synology or QNAP would be much more
reliable/adaptable.
Are you connecting to the NAS via AFP or SMB? Select the NAS share on your
desktop and go File menu > Get Info > should say how it's connected there.
