I am connecting to the NAS via AFP. The reason for using a WD NAS was because when we bought it almost 3 years ago the business was just starting and we wanted a relatively cheep was sharing and storing files within the network. We will be looking at replacing this late this year / early next year with a server system now the business has grown.
