I've noticed that my 2010 Mac Pro USB often (but not always) fails to
deliver enough current even through the built-in ports to make the iPad
3 charge (in fact it does trickle charge). After going to iOS 8, when I
plug it in, it says on the Mac to plug it into a USB port and (unlike
before) does NOT show it in iTunes.
I've tried different ports and different cables...any other suggestions?
