Hi all, My partner has bought a number of songs on his Mac and some on his iPhone. He is now trying to bring some order to his phone which previously was syncing everything and he now only wants a few albums on his iPhone.
He has set the "sync only checked playlists, artists ..." etc and checked about four albums. Some of the original songs remained on the iPhone. When he looks, those songs appear in a box at the bottom of the iPhone's music section entitled "Manually added songs". I never even knew such a thing existed and I've synced my music since the original iPod! Anyway, he selects all the manually added songs and taps the remove button. They disappear. He taps sync and iTunes puts all the manually added songs back in the list and they are still on his iPhone! Anyone know what is going on here and how he can just ended up with only checked albums on his iPhone? Thanks in advance. Stephen We are Costa of Borg.
