Morning Smuggers

I have an office situated in my garden, where my router is situated. I have a
wi-fi extender so that I can access the internet in the house for my and my
wife's laptops, iPads and Apple TV. This set-up has worked well until a few
days ago, when access in the house slowed right down to negligible - it's
still Ok in the office in the garden.

So presumably the extender has broken and needs replacing. Would it be best to
do this or, alternatively, buy an additional router and install that in the
house?

Thanks for your thoughts.
Derek
