Really sorry to hear about Gillian's back woes. Our need for advice isn't as medically critical, but homework for a teenager.
A local Gumtree seller has an MBAir 11", early 2011 for £275. It's running High Sierra. We are just so torn, wondering what the longevity of the machine might be? My MBPro early 2011 (SSD) is starting to show its age. £275 seems a bargain, but we're just wondering if an extra £100 gets a brand new iPad and keyboard that will likely do all she needs, plus last a little longer?
