Hi y’all,

All good wishes of the season to one and all 😄

Any idea why the TouchID on my Magic Keyboard is no longer available? All
options are ticked in System Preferences but every option (except Remove
Fingerprint) is greyed out.

I restarted the iMac with the keyboard attached by cable and the options were
all black again. I locked the screen, no TouchID option for unlock available so
typed my password and all settings greyed out again! I’ve run Apple Diagnostics
which reports ADP000 for All fine. The battery went flat a while ago in the
trackpad but not the keyboard as I recall, they are both now 100% but I did
switch them both off to save wasting battery. They work fine - apart from
TouchID.

Any ideas, otherwise it’s Apple support I suppose?

Regards,

Stephen
