Good evening all, I have been on this list for a good few years now but rarely post, normally just lurking in the background. This afternoon however something happened that has me reaching for the keyboard. My phone (iPhone Pro 12 on iOS 18.3.2) started playing a repetitive chime / ringtone that I have never heard before and there was no obvious reason for it, this was not a call or an alarm from an app. I closed all open apps and it just kept on playing so I powered the phone down. I turned it back on and the noise started again after about 30 seconds before stopping of its own accord. So far it has not happened again.
The questions are simple, has anyone else experienced this and does anyone know why it happened?
