I don't see where it is offensive.  The stories are wonderful wholesome
stories.  But in today's culture it doesn't seem to matter about the facts,
only about what it "may" offend.  I'm just about sick of it.

And is it even really offensive to nonwhites?  I have not had the chance to
see the whole thing, but IIRC, the Uncle Remus (James Baskett) character is
a genuine hero.
