I'm talking about the rest of the state of VIRGINIA. 5 feet a winter is more than I care for. And that number came from the weather guy at our local news station. He said though 5 feet is a low average. Last winter we had about a total of 10 feet. But the winter before that we only had 1 foot of snow the whole winter. Back in the mid 80's our average was always about 10 feet. I've never once thought I got more snow here than in the midwest and I've never said I did. But compared to the rest of the state, thats quite a bit of snow.
