I've
had some great low fat, low calorie and low carb meals. I think things just work
differently for e'one. Actually part of the reason I don't diet is b/c I'm
anemic so I have to take the iron where I can get it to keep from having to take
supplements. Diets just don't work for me but the way I do things does work. But
don't get me wrong, I don't sit around and eat junk all day. I usually have
something like oatmeal or toast for breakfast, lunch depends on what I have in
the house, today it's spaghetti and then dinner is usually something that is
healthy. But I also refuse to cook separate meals for myself and my kids and my
doctor at one time told me to never have them eat anything that comes off a diet
b/c kids need everything that is in different foods. So I just make sure I make
well balanced meals and keep healthy snacks around.

Yes we have. I eat the way
is good for me.
I don't completely deprive
myself of everything though either..LOL
I bet there are alot of
recipes/meals/desserts I make you'd never know were low carb. Especially my
strawberry cheesecake.
Yum!

LOL< we already went round and round on this one. What works for
some doesn't work for others. I don't take in much sugar anyway and I don't
give up my starches b/c a lot of them have carbs in them and you need carbs
so you have energy to burn which also can help in weight loss. I lose weight
just by exercising and eating the same as always, just I eat slow and when I
feel full, I stop.
It's not pudding in the
sense you are thinking.
It's actually more like
pumpkin cheesecake.
Sugar and starches
aren't good for you. So any *diet* or weight loss program is going to have
you eliminating sugars or reducing them significantly. No ways around
it.
I prefer to eat more
healthy now then to fill my body with empty calories. Treats are
fine..sure. Not saying I don't or won't eat sugar items. But I prefer to
eat healthy alternatives on a daily basis and save treats for special
times every now and again.

LOL, no offense, but yuck. Something about pumpkin pie, which for
me is only tolerable at best, yet I have to have it every Thanksgiving
or its just not Thanksgiving, and mix it with pudding just doesn't sound
very appetizing. That's just me though. I know a few people that would
actually probably like it.
I just don't like having to replace foods with different foods. I
just figure what good is it if ya can't enjoy things you really love.
I have plenty of
yummy things though in replacement..like my pumpkin pie
pudding.
My gosh that is too
die for.
I should post the
recipe.

Sorry, but that's why I won't diet that way. You have to have
a little fun in your life and no food should be forbidden in a diet.
LOL..yep those
are the ones.
Damn they are
good. Unfortunately they are a no-no on low carb
diets.
drats!
LOL

Oh but it's a special combo,
in fact right before I was stranded it expanded and put a
Burger King on the back. ROFL
So yeah, I think I can
handle three years stranded with KFC, Burger King, Taco
Bell and Pizza Hut. ROFL ( In fact right after
that they added a Dairy Queen....mmmmmmmmm now I'm set
for food and dessert. Strand me. ROFL )
