They also have contracts btw,
especially if you have their internet service. I mentioned the local cable
place this morning offers a discounted rate on their highway robbery for
internet service with a *one year* commitment.
And while satellite might be
bothered by storms every blue moon, it doesn't go down once a week like cable.

not true, yeah you may not get the 5,000 channels satellite offers, ut seriously, how many Shopping channels do you need? Cable, IMHO, is considerably better than satellite 1: Lightning in the air doesn't screw with reception as it does satellite 2: No contracts 3: no installation fees 4: Free service calls with cable, Satellite charges for just flipping a switch 5: and from *MY* experience digital cable gives much clearer picture.
