yeup! i had pet mice about 7 years ago :-) very cute and loving
till one day when i fed them bacon... they got a taste for meat and
started eating each other :-( very sad!

Lowell. Mice and rats make excellent pets. They are extremely smart,
trainable and very clean animals.

I just couldn't have any rodents in my house. I hated having the
hamster years ago. Although I did have an iguana (I know, not a rodent)
for 3 years, I loved him to death, even when he would get out of his
cage and roam around the house. He was over 3ft when he
died.

pets with a little work. I'd put both mice and rats ahead of
guinea pigs, hamsters, or even rabbits. They're definitely more
affectionate than any reptile, and their odor is IMO less of a problem
than that of rabbits or any of the mustelids.
