Yes, I know about wet nurses. <gag>
No woman would ever put her boob in my kids mouth unless it was life or death.

In the context of the news article you are correct.  However, as I was discussing with Tim last night, it used to be a common practice for women of means to hire (or enslave) a wet nurse to suckle an infant.

I don't think they meant the question that another woman would actually nurse your kid. Your kid would drink their breastmilk in a bottle?
Correct me if I am wrong, Charles?

tough question... yes and no... yes if that is the only way the infant was to drink but no cause i'd be afraid that the kid would think every breast it sees and grab random people's breasts and be insulted ya know? LoL I mean my mom didnt breast feed me and i turned out ok....   Ouch  ow!... Banana Peel ooooww!!

If you or your partner were unable to breast-feed your infant, would you serve the baby another woman's breast milk?
Yes
No
